Our Fifth Wedding Anniversary

Writer's picture: Meke McCallMeke McCall

This isn't the first time we've dressed down for the camera, but it has been a few years and leading up to our fifth Wedding Anniversary we got talking about what we'd like to do. We do gifts randomly and neither of us had any idea what was left to get the other so we agreed that experiences and quality time together was the best thing we could do. Part of our Anniversary came one day early, on Wednesday 3rd March, 2021 we settled into the studio for the day got the camera out and made some memories.

Now let's not kid ourselves, we were often both enjoying very different aspects of the session in various parts of the day. We both enjoyed the intimacy, playfulness and quality time but if you ask my Husband he was all in it for the lingerie and booty pics of his wife (which he now has ample of!). I most enjoyed showing my Husband what I do one on one with clients, photographing him and creating beautiful art to turn into an anniversary album and hang on our walls.

I absolutely can't wait for our album to arrive so I can show it off! There are so many gorgeous images I honestly did not plan on falling in love with so many and I totally understand how my clients feel. I came into this ready to pick myself apart like most of my clients and was surprised finding image after image that I didn't want to let go of.

We will definitely be doing this again, for now we're off to Hobart to finish celebrating our Anniversary. If you'd like to learn about the Boudoir Experience we offer please visit our complete session rundown
